EcoVent is EcoStar's ridge vent for its synthetic slate and shake roofs, a polymer vent with no exterior baffles that raises the ridge cap less than one inch. The data sheet prints 18 square inches of net free area per linear foot, 48-inch by 12-inch pieces (12 per carton, 48 linear feet), preformed nail holes with nails included, and use on 3:12 to 12:12 pitches. EcoStar states that its 50-Year Gold Star Limited Labor and Material Warranty requires EcoVent wherever ridge ventilation is installed on 3/12 to 12/12 slopes. The installation steps printed on the same sheet refer to the product as the HighPoint vent.
