Duro-Shield Universal Primer 2-Part Epoxy is a water-based two-part epoxy primer used over multiple roof substrates before a Duro-Shield roof coating is applied. The data sheet lists PVC, EPDM and TPO membranes, mineral- and granule-surfaced and smooth BUR and modified bitumen, aged galvanized metal, and use as a masonry block filler when mixed with sand. It prints a light pink color, VOC under 100 g/L, 44 percent solids by volume and a cure time of at least 6 hours, and ships as 4-gallon and 10-gallon A and B kits with a two-year shelf life.
