Duro-Shield Silicone Roof Coating is a solvent-free, single-component, moisture-curing elastomeric silicone coating that the data sheet says needs no primer over most substrates, for use over PVC, EPDM and TPO (with its TPO primer), granule-surfaced and smooth BUR and modified bitumen (with its bleed-block primer), spray polyurethane foam, metal, concrete and wood, subject to adhesion testing. The data sheet prints 95 percent solids by volume, VOC under 50 g/L, 275 psi tensile strength and 196 percent elongation by ASTM D2370, 6.4 perms at 20 mil, a two-year shelf life, and a bright white initial CRRC solar reflectance index of 110 (84 at three years). It ships in 5 and 55 gallon containers in bright white, tan and dark gray.
