Duro-Shield Acrylic Reinforced Mastic is a flashing-grade, standalone, fiber-reinforced acrylic roof mastic applied in a single application before Duro-Shield primers and coatings, to correct surface cracks, control and coping joints, gutter seams, membrane pinholes, rain collars and fish mouths. The data sheet lists aluminum, galvanized metal, aged asphaltic membranes (primed with the asphalt bleed-block primer), single-ply membranes and sprayed polyurethane foam as substrates, and states it is not for silicone coatings, gravel-surfaced BUR or low-slope applications. It prints 51 percent solids by volume, VOC under 50 g/L, 192 psi tensile strength and 350 percent elongation by ASTM D412, and ships white in 5-gallon pails.
