Duro-Guard EPS Fiberglass Facer is Type VIII (1.25 pcf, ASTM C578) expanded polystyrene roof insulation factory-laminated to a fiberglass facer, made in flat and tapered panels, that the data sheet says may be used directly under Duro-Last membranes without a separate cover board or slip sheet. It is listed for mechanically attached, Duro-Bond, metal retrofit and adhered Duro-Last systems, and the data sheet states it may reach a UL Class A assembly rating on noncombustible decks without a cover board.
