Tyvek Roof Protector is a four-layer mechanically attached synthetic roofing underlayment for steep-slope roofs under asphalt shingles or metal panels, with a slip-resistant surface and 2-inch chalk guide lines, sold in 42-inch by 286-foot rolls and rated for 90 days of UV exposure. The product information sheet prints a Class A pass to ASTM E108, a nominal thickness of 0.254 mm (10 mils), trapezoid tear strength of 25 lbf MD and 40 lbf CD, tensile strength of 102 lbf MD and 90 lbf CD to ASTM D751, below 0.05 perms, and a liquid water transmission pass to ASTM D4869, and lists ASTM D8257, ASTM E108 and ICC-ES AC188 with FBC, HVHZ and Miami-Dade listings and a 20-year limited warranty. DuPont's own copy cites two different evaluation reports: the features text says it meets AC188 per Intertek CCRR-1062 (and ASTM D226 Types I and II, CAN/CSA A123.3 and CAN/CSA A220.1), while the code table gives Intertek CCRR-0542 and CCRR-0394.
