Tile Bond is a one-component, minimally expanding polyurethane foam adhesive for setting concrete and clay roof tiles over a preapproved underlayment, dispensed from a handheld aerosol can or a 23 lb canister and used for field, hip and ridge, rake, valley and eave tiles on low/flat, medium, high and two-piece barrel profiles in new and reroof work. DuPont says a canister sets up to 350 field tiles, that it is moisture-cured and can go on wet substrates, and that tiles are set within 4 minutes of dispensing. The product information sheet prints 14.3 psi compressive strength, 31.2 psi tensile adhesion (concrete to concrete, after 120 days at 180 degrees F and 65 percent RH) and 1.8 lb/ft3 density, and lists UL file R18231, Florida Building Code FL #717 22525, Miami-Dade NOA No: 22-0614.05 and a Texas DOI product evaluation. It is not sold in Canada.
