Styrofoam Brand Highload is DuPont's high-compressive-strength extruded polystyrene (XPS) insulation, sold as Highload 40, 60 and 100 (40, 60 and 100 psi) in flat boards and in tapered boards at 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2 inch slopes to improve roof drainage. DuPont's low-slope roofing brochure places it in protected membrane roofs and plaza decks that carry heavy traffic and in conventional single-ply roofs, and classes Highload 40, 60 and 100 as ASTM C578 Types VI, VII and V; the Highload 40 page and sheet also list freezer floors, highways, runways and parking decks. The Highload 40 product information sheet prints R-5 per inch, 4 by 8 foot square-edge boards 2 to 4 inches thick, Factory Mutual approval, ICC-ES ESR-4755 and UL Classification Certificate D-369, and a 50-year thermal limited warranty on Styrofoam Brand insulation 1.5 inches and thicker.
