Classik is a concealed-fastener steel profile for roofing and siding installed by seaming, with a 1 3/16 inch rib, an optional major rib or striations, and fixed or floating clips. It is made in 14.5, 16 and 20 inch covering widths in 22, 24 and 26 gauge, with a 4 foot minimum length; the rib can be crimped at 90 or 180 degrees, except that the 180 degree fold is not possible in 22 gauge. On a roof it needs a solid substrate and a roofing underlayment, with a 3/12 minimum slope, or 1.5/12 where sealant is applied.
