MetShield High-Temp Underlayment
MetShield High-Temp is a self-adhered ice and water underlayment for metal roofs: a 40 mil SBS modified bitumen membrane with a woven polyethylene anti-slip top facer and a split release film. Drexel Metals rates it for temperatures up to 250°F and for steel, aluminum, copper, zinc, CRCQ and A606 roofs, and the TDS states it is required under all Drexel Metals warranted roof systems. Rolls are 36 inches by 66 feet. The TDS lists ASTM D1970, ICC-ES ESR-2206, UL classification and Florida Building Code approval, and limits sun exposure to 180 days.
