The DMC 550S is an interlocking standing seam roof panel with an integral seam, described by Drexel Metals as quick to install and producing a weathertight seam. Standard nominal widths are 15 and 19 inches, in painted Galvalume or Drexlume (22 and 24 gauge) and aluminum (.032 and .040 inch). Minimum slope is 3:12, over plywood decking or insulated metal decking with approved underlayment. The data sheet states a 35-year non-prorated PVDF paint warranty on Galvalume and aluminum substrates and a 25-year warranty on the Drexlume substrate.
