The DMC 175S is a 1-3/4 inch snap-lock standing seam roof system with a broad seam, concealed fasteners and a clip that allows thermal movement; it requires no mechanical seaming, and Drexel Metals states it is approved for use on Weather Tightness Warranty projects. Standard nominal widths are 12, 14, 16 and 18 inches, in painted Galvalume or Drexlume (22 and 24 gauge) and painted aluminum (.032 and .040 inch). Minimum slope is 2:12, over plywood, steel decking or polyiso with approved underlayment, or open framing. The data sheet states a 35-year non-prorated PVDF paint warranty on Galvalume and aluminum substrates and a 25-year warranty on the Drexlume substrate, and lists Miami-Dade County, Florida Building Code and Texas Department of Insurance approvals.
