FasciaVent is DCI Products' intake vent installed vertically against the fascia board, letting air enter through the fascia, pass under the roof decking and exit at a ridge vent or other exhaust; a gutter can be hung directly on it, and DCI calls it ideal for roofs under 4/12 pitch and for metal roofing. The product page prints a net free area of 9 square inches per linear foot, and the sell sheet prints pieces 10 1/2 in. wide by 3/4 in. high, hinged at 5 1/4 in., in 36 in. lengths, 22 pieces (66 feet) per box, with a lifetime limited warranty. DCI also shows a Wildland-Urban Interface installation with ember protection for California.
