Fascia Strip Vent is DCI Products' attic intake vent for roofs with or without a soffit, nailed to the existing fascia board after the top 1 in. of the board is cut away, then covered with a new fascia board or aluminum capping; DCI states it can be retrofitted on an existing roof without removing the shingles. The product page describes a 4 in. by 3/4 in. by 37 in. application giving 9 square inches of net free area per foot of intake, with custom sizes made to order. Rake edges take an end cap cut from the same strip, per DCI's installation instructions.
