A factory-assembled, fixed (non-venting) unit skylight published under CSI 08 62 00, whose data sheet names Crystal Structures and Vtech Industries as manufacturer. The frame is an aliphatic polyurethane body made by reaction injection molding that encapsulates the glazing, which is laminated insulated glass or polycarbonate with an optional aerogel insulation insert. Typical sizes are 2x2, 2x4, 3x3 and 4x4 ft or clusters of them, for curb-mounted installation on flat and low-slope commercial roofs; the sheet gives U-factors of about 0.38 to 0.43 for glass and about 0.33 for polycarbonate. The sheet states a Miami-Dade hurricane rating with large missile impact and water penetration testing per ASTM E547/E331, and describes a 20-year full system transferable warranty on standard units.
