A custom-engineered aluminum-framed skylight system of 6063-T5/T6 extrusions with a poured-and-debridged or polyamide thermal break, pressure-plate glazing with EPDM gaskets, and an integral gutter and weep system, published on data sheets under CSI 08 63 00 (metal-framed), 08 64 00 (glazed structural) and 08 65 00 (skylights). Profiles run from Series 300 (light commercial, short spans) through Series 575 and 750 to Series 950 (large spans up to 40 ft), in ridge, pyramid, hipped, barrel vault, polygonal, lean-to and custom geometries, with a removable skylight module option. Standard glazing is a 1 in. insulated glass unit, with multiwall polycarbonate, acrylic and impact glazing options; the data sheets list air infiltration of 0.06 cfm/sq ft or less at 1.57 psf (ASTM E283), no leakage at 15 psf (ASTM E331/E547) and L/175 deflection (ASTM E330). The 08 65 00 sheet lists a UL 790 / ASTM E108 roof assembly fire rating of Class B standard, with Class A optional with selected polycarbonate, and FM 4473 / UL 2218 impact resistance as an option with glazing. The data sheets state a 10-year warranty on the structural frame and finish and a 10-year insulated glass seal warranty, with extended coverage on request.
