TuffSpan 7.2 x 1.5 Rib is a ribbed fiberglass reinforced polymer (FRP) roofing and siding panel in the TuffSpan line made by Enduro Composites, a Creative Composites Group company, in Houston, Texas. The profile has a 7.2 inch rib spacing and 1 1/2 inch depth, made in 43.2 inch or 36 inch panel coverage (46.8 inch or 39.25 inch panel width). It is offered in Series 150 to 450 (8 to 16 oz/sf, iso-polyester PFR or vinyl ester VFR fire-retardant resin, 48% glass by weight) and FM 10, 13 and 16 (FM-approved iso-polyester, 30% glass), in opaque gray, white, beige, shale and stone white or translucent colors with up to 80% light transmission. The data sheet lists an ASTM E84 flame spread of 25 or less (Class 1) and ASTM E108 roof covering results of Class C for PFR/VFR and Class B for FM materials, each at a 3/12 maximum slope. The data sheet lists an FM I-90 wind uplift classification for FM 10 panels at a 5 ft 6 in span and FM 13 and FM 16 panels at 6 ft 8 in, and states the FM materials meet FM Standard 4880 for use as building panels without automatic sprinkler requirements.
