IN-Vent is Cor-A-Vent's on-the-roof attic intake vent, installed over a 1-inch slot or series of holes cut in the roof deck near the eave, for houses where soffit or overhang intake is not available. The product page gives a low 1-inch profile, 6.75 square inches of net free vent area per lineal foot (matched to the V-300 ridge vent), a polypropylene body that will not compress, an enhanced snow screen, a minimum roof pitch of 3/12, and 4-foot pieces shipped 16 to a 36 lb carton with nails and end caps. The installation guide says the slot starts at least 36 inches up from the drip edge and stays 12 inches from roof ends, 36 inches from any valley and 24 inches from any wall.
