Affinity Primer is a red synthetic rubber primer required for adhesion of Affinity Base Coat to EPDM and TPO roof membranes; it is not for use on PVC. It is sold in a 5 gallon container and applied in one coat at about 400 square feet per gallon (4-5 wet mils, 1.6-3.2 dry mils). Its data sheet lists 400 percent elongation and 300 psi tensile strength (ASTM D2370) and a VOC content of 520 g/L, and states that the product has no fire rating.
