Mechanical termination bars used to secure the top edge of Cheney's rigid flashings to the structural backup material. The T1 is a 12-gauge Type 304 stainless steel flat bar, 1 in. tall, in 96 in. lengths with 1/4 in. dia. by 3/8 in. slotted punched holes every 8 in. on center, packaged in 80 linear ft bundles. The T2 is a lighter 26-gauge Type 304 stainless steel bar with a 1/4 in. hemmed caulk cup, also 1 in. tall in 96 in. lengths with 1/4 in. dia. punched holes every 8 in. on center, packaged in 200 linear ft packs, and is also offered in 3003 aluminum. Cheney says both bars are compatible with all its rigid flashing products.
