Factory-formed rigid masonry flashing with a flat hemmed edge, used to continuously connect straight-length flashing runs by a smooth lapped edge and designed for integration with Cheney's pre-formed corners and end dam system. Sized 3 in. deep by 96 in. long with a 3/8 in. hem, in 26-gauge (0.018 in.) Type 304 or 316 stainless steel standard, also offered in bare copper, Freedom Gray Copper, lead-coated copper, Kynar-painted aluminum, mill-finish aluminum and galvanized, with a matching flat hem corner piece. Cheney says the stainless option meets ASTM A240/A240M, ASTM A666 and ASTM A480/A480M and that its aluminum and galvanized options are "not recommended for use with mortar."
