Pre-formed rigid stainless steel inside and outside corner pieces and end dams installed beneath straight-length or flexible masonry flashing at corner conditions and termination points, which Cheney says is "the standard for the best moisture penetration control" versus field-fabricated corners. Cheney's Inside Corner measures 4 in. by 6 in. by 4 in. tall with a 2 in. notch; end dams are offered in 4 in. by 4 in. by 2 in. and 4 in. by 4 in. by 4 in. tall sizes. Standard material is 26-gauge (0.018 in.) Type 304 stainless steel with Type 316 available on request, also offered in copper, galvanized or aluminum, with joints spot-welded and soldered using 50% tin / 50% zinc solder. Cheney says its 300-series stainless contains 75-85% post-consumer recycled content and is fully recyclable.
