Vycor Select is a lightweight, 25-mil self-adhered roofing underlayment of rubberized asphalt with a slip-resistant film surface and a paper release liner with RIPCORD split release, positioned by CertainTeed as an alternative to granular-surfaced underlayments that will not bond to the underside of the roof covering at reroofing. The October 2025 data sheet gives a 36 in. x 65 ft. roll (195 sq. ft.) weighing 32 lbs., a maximum exposure of 90 days, and UL 790/ASTM E108 Class A under fiberglass shingles and Class C under organic felt shingles.
