SwiftStart is CertainTeed's metric starter shingle for Landmark Series and similar metric shingles, 15 1/4 in. x 38 3/4 in., perforated for separation, with CertaSeal modified-asphalt sealant; an 18-piece bundle covers about 116 lin. ft. at roughly 62 lb. CertainTeed states it meets the 2 in. minimum headlap for metric shingles and that an upgraded 130 mph wind warranty is available on Landmark Series when SwiftStart is installed along eaves and rakes. Its limited warranty runs concurrent with the warranty of the field shingle.
