Patriot is CertainTeed's two-layer laminated asphalt shingle with a shake-style look, a fiberglass mat base, NailTrak wider nailing area, QuadraBond four-point layer bonding and CertaSeal sealant, in a metric 13 1/4 in. x 38 3/4 in. size at a 5 5/8 in. exposure. The technical data sheet lists ASTM D3161 Class F and ASTM D7158 Class H wind, ASTM E108 and UL 790 Class A fire, and UL 2218 Class 3 impact resistance, with an approximate weight of 208 to 216 lb per square depending on manufacturing location. The product page lists a lifetime limited transferable warranty (the data sheet: lifetime or 40 years depending on ownership), 10-year StreakFighter algae resistance, 10-year SureStart protection and a 15-year, 110 mph wind warranty, upgradeable to 130 mph with specified CertainTeed starter and hip and ridge.
