The CertainTeed Intake Vent is a filtered, shingle-over edge vent for roofs with limited soffit intake, made of polypropylene with internal baffles, a drainage system and a weather filter, integrated end plugs and louver openings no wider than 1/4 in. Its data sheet gives 9 sq. in. of net free area per linear foot, a minimum 3/12 roof pitch with no maximum, a black finish, and a lifetime limited warranty with 5-year SureStart protection.
