Smooth-surfaced, torch-applied APP-modified bitumen cap sheet with polyester reinforcement, for low-slope residential and commercial roofs. Flintlastic STA is 3.8 mm (150 mils) thick, weighs 86 lbs per roll and covers one square; the heavier Flintlastic STA Plus is 4.5 mm (177 mils) and 98 lbs per roll. CertainTeed lists both as meeting ASTM D6222 Grade S Type I, and the STA Plus page links ICC-ES report ESR-1388.
