Self-adhered, polyester-reinforced SBS-modified bitumen cap sheet used as the standard cap in Flintlastic SA low-slope roof systems, installed with a weighted roller rather than torch or kettle. It is 4.0 mm (160 mils) thick, weighs 95 lbs per roll and covers one square, and comes in 11 colors and in CoolStar reflective surfacing. CertainTeed lists it as meeting ASTM D6164 Grade G Type I, ASTM D7505 and ASTM D1970. Standard asphaltic membrane warranties run ten to twenty-five years depending on system specification and product selection.
