Fire-resistant, polyester-reinforced SBS-modified bitumen cap sheet applied in hot asphalt or cold adhesive, also offered in a reflective CoolStar version. It is 4.2 mm (165 mils) thick, weighs 100 lbs per roll and covers one square. CertainTeed lists it as meeting ASTM D6164 Grade G Type II and as able to support Class A fire ratings when used in UL Class A roof assemblies; its product page links ICC-ES report ESR-1388.
