Non-modified, fiberglass-reinforced mineral-surfaced cap sheet for built-up roof systems, applied with hot asphalt or cold adhesive. Granule side up it is the weathering layer; granule side down it serves as a venting base sheet. It is 3.0 mm (118 mils) thick, weighs 77 lbs per roll and covers one square. CertainTeed lists it as meeting ASTM D3909 and ASTM D4897.
