Cedar Crest is CertainTeed's multi-layer, medium-profile hip and ridge accessory shingle styled after cedar shake, 12 in. x 36 in. and perforated into three 12 in. caps at an 8 in. exposure (20 lin. ft. per bundle), in algae-resistant colors that blend with Landmark and Presidential shingles. CertainTeed's own documents disagree on its impact rating: the product page calls it a UL 2218 Class 4 impact-resistant shingle, while the technical data sheet linked from that page covers Cedar Crest and Cedar Crest IR, lists UL 2218 Impact Resistance Class 3, and marks only the IR colors as impact resistant. The page lists a lifetime limited warranty, 25-year algae resistance and a 15-year 110 MPH wind warranty; the data sheet notes that hand sealing is required for 110 mph wind resistance.
