ThermaThin 7 is a rigid roof insulation panel with a closed-cell polyisocyanurate foam core that Carlisle rates at R-7 per inch, bonded on both sides to glass-reinforced felt (GRF) or coated glass (CGF) facers. It carries ReadyFlash dark/light facers for controlling adhesive flash-off time. Panels come 4' x 4' and 4' x 8' in thicknesses from 1.45 in. through 2.5 in. The data sheet lists ASTM C1289 Type II (Class 1 GRF or Class 2 CGF, Grade 2, 20 psi), IBC Section 2603, UL 790/263/1256 as a component of Class A roof systems, and FM 4450/4470 Class 1 approval for steel-deck constructions.
