SecurShield HD is a 1/2 in. high-density polyisocyanurate cover board laminated to coated-glass facers, for use over a variety of substrates in re- roofing and new construction, with a stated R-value of 2.5. Carlisle's data sheet says the high-density formulation achieves an FM Severe Hail (SH) rating. It lists ASTM C1289 Type II Class 4 Grade 1 (109 psi max.), IBC Section 2603, UL 790/263/1256 as a component of Class A roof systems, FM 4450/4470 Class 1, CAN/ULC S704 and Florida Building Code approval.
