Low-VOC Bonding Adhesive is a high-strength, solvent-based contact adhesive for bonding EPDM and TPO membranes to porous and non-porous substrates. Carlisle states it meets the <250 g/L VOC content requirement of the OTC Model Rule for Single-Ply Roofing Adhesives and marks it as not compliant in all California counties. Listed coverage is 60 sq ft per gallon of finished surface in a 5-gallon pail with a 12-month shelf life. A Low-VOC Bonding Adhesive 1168 version, for EPDM and Sure-Weld TPO, is listed as meeting SCAQMD requirements.
