InsulBase is a rigid roof insulation panel with a closed-cell polyisocyanurate foam core bonded on each side to glass-reinforced felt (GRF), with ReadyFlash dark/light facers. Panels come 4' x 4' and 4' x 8' from 1/2 in. to 4.5 in. thick, and 4' x 12' in selected thicknesses from 1.5 in. to 3.5 in.; Carlisle also lists a tapered version. It is used under ballasted, mechanically attached and fully adhered single-ply systems. The data sheet lists ASTM C1289 Type II Class 1 (Grade 2 and Grade 3), IBC Section 2603, UL 790/263/1256 as a component of Class A roof systems, FM 4450/4470 Class 1, CAN/ULC S704, the PIMA Quality Mark for LTTR and Florida Building Code approval.
