Brava's manufactured one-piece hip and ridge caps for its composite Cedar Shake and Slate roof systems. Technical Bulletin TB-240601 prints that the caps come in three slope angles (Low Slope, Standard Slope and Steep Slope) and that Brava recommends measuring the hip or ridge angle before ordering; Low Slope caps may also suit turrets and nonstandard hips. The bulletin gives a maximum exposure of 10 inches and recommends 8 inches. The Old World Slate spec sheet lists the slate hip and ridge piece at 2.0 lbs and 5 5/8" x 6" x 16". For unusual details the bulletin describes cutting custom two-piece caps from Brava Solid Shake or Solid Slate accessories.
