STRUCTODEK HD with Primed Red Coating is a high-density wood fiberboard used as roof insulation, cover board or re-roof/recover board in low-slope single-ply, built-up and cold-applied roofs, coated on both faces with a patented non-asphaltic red primer meant to bond with PVC, TPO, EPDM and CSPE membranes and low-VOC, water-based and foam adhesives, in 4 by 4 and 4 by 8 foot panels. The September 2024 data sheet prints R-1.3 per 1/2 inch, 25 psi compressive strength at 10 percent deformation and 62 psi at 20 percent, and lists ASTM C208 Type II Grades 1 and 2, CAN/ULC-S706-09, UL and ULC classification (UL 790, CAN/ULC-S107), FM Approved Class 1 to FM 4450/4470, CCMC #13186-L, Florida product approval FL # 13792.1 and Miami-Dade NOA No. 23-0623.03 (expiring 09/18/28). It warns against use as a shingle underlayment and against torching modified bitumen directly onto it.
