Cant Strip and Tapered Edge are low-slope roof transition pieces cut at the factory from Structodek wood fiberboard: cant strips give a 45-degree transition where the roof meets a wall or parapet (1 to 1-1/2 inches thick, 48 inches long), and tapered edge strips slope from zero to 1/2 to 2 inches over 6 to 24 inch widths to lift and drain roof edges, drains and elevation changes. The October 2024 data sheet says they conform to ASTM C208 Type II and prints a density of 14 to 16 pcf and R-3.5 at 1.5 inches (ASTM C518).
