Viking Tar Armor is a cold-applied blend of asphalt, refined coal tar pitch, aromatic solvents and thermoplastic polymers that cures to a seamless, flexible membrane. It is used as a waterproof resurfacing over asphalt BUR or gravel-surfaced coal tar BUR on low- and no-slope roofs, and as an adhesive compatible with both coal tar pitch and asphalt roof systems. It is supplied black in 5-gallon pails.
