Viking Poly-Shield is a continuous-filament, point-bonded, chemically treated polyester mat made to accept hot bitumen as its bonding adhesive. It is installed with hot asphalt or coal tar pitch in multi-ply built-up roof assemblies, including three- and four-ply configurations and systems with Viking CTP.
