Viking AOB is a non-perforated, asphalt-coated organic base sheet. It is used as the initial underlayment under metal, shingle, tile and slate steep- slope roofs and as a base layer in asphalt and coal tar pitch built-up roof applications. The data sheet states it meets ASTM D2626 and describes it as a water-shedding temporary roof for slopes above 3:12.
