StrongHold Foamable Adhesive is a solvent-free elastomeric foamable adhesive for bonding approved roof insulations to structural roof decks, base sheets, other insulation boards and prepared gravel-surfaced built-up roofs, applied without pump carts or spray rigs. The data sheet lists substrates including polyisocyanurate, polystyrene, mineral wool, gypsum and asphaltic cover boards, wood fiber, concrete, wood and steel decks, lightweight insulating concrete, modified bitumen base sheets and asphalt BUR. It is supplied in 1.5-liter cartridges, four per case. BITEC also publishes StrongHold Green Foamable Adhesive, an essentially VOC-free version with 45% rapidly renewable material content, in the same cartridge.
