BITEC SPM-4T is a granule-surfaced, polyester-reinforced SBS modified bitumen cap ply designed for torch application over BITEC SBS modified bitumen base plies in commercial roof membrane configurations. The data sheet lists a 4 mm nominal (165 mil average) thickness, a weight of 98.4 lbs per 100 square feet, ceramic granule top surfacing with a polyethylene film bottom, and 33.9 ft by 3.28 ft rolls in 13 colors including a CRRC-compliant Ultra White. It lists UL classification R13231 as a membrane for roofing systems as to external fire exposure only and NEMO certification.
