BITEC SPM-4H is a granule-surfaced, polyester-reinforced SBS modified bitumen cap ply designed for hot asphalt application over built-up ply felt systems, or hot asphalt or cold adhesive application over BITEC SBS base plies. It can be mopped in Type III or IV asphalt or set with BITEC PMA-186 Adhesive. The data sheet lists a 4 mm nominal (163 mil average) thickness, a weight of 108 lbs per 100 square feet, and UL classification R13231 as a membrane for roofing systems as to external fire exposure only.
