BITEC SFM-4H-FR is a granule-surfaced, fiberglass-reinforced SBS modified bitumen cap ply compounded with additional fire retardant additives, designed for hot asphalt application over built-up ply felt systems or hot asphalt or cold adhesive application over BITEC SBS base plies. The data sheet lists a 4 mm nominal (160 mil average) thickness, a weight of 90 lbs per 100 square feet, and UL classification R13231 as a membrane for roofing systems as to external fire exposure only.
