BITEC MAC-300 is a fibered, high-solids, asphalt-based aluminum roof coating applied in two coats over smooth or mineral-surfaced roofs and metal roofing. The data sheet states that it meets ASTM D2824 Type III and lists coverage of 0.5 to 0.75 gallon per 100 square feet per coat on smooth or mineral roofs and 0.20 to 0.25 gallon on metal, a VOC content of 480 g/L, and 5-gallon pails.
