BITEC MAC-200 is a non-fibered, asphalt-based aluminum roof coating applied in two coats over smooth or mineral-surfaced roofs and metal roofing. The data sheet states that it meets ASTM D2824 Type I and lists coverage of 0.5 to 0.75 gallon per 100 square feet per coat on smooth or mineral roofs and 0.20 to 0.25 gallon on metal, a VOC content of 480 g/L, and 5-gallon pails.
