Imperflex MSA is the self-adhered, granule-surfaced SBS modified bitumen cap sheet of BITEC's Imperflex peel-and-stick system, applied over an Imperflex USA or SA2 base ply by removing a split release film. The data sheet describes it for residential roofing system configurations while BITEC's Imperflex page presents it as the finishing layer for low-slope surfaces. The sheet lists a fiberglass mat, a 3.5 mm nominal (147 mil average) thickness, a weight of 95 lbs per 100 square feet and UL classification R-13231, and states it must never be applied directly to an existing roof system or to roof insulation.
