BITEC ElastoTherm HD Coverboard FR is a roof cover board with a closed-cell polyisocyanurate foam core bonded to an inorganic coated glass facer, made 0.625 in. thick in 4 ft x 4 ft and 4 ft x 8 ft panels. It is tested per ASTM C1289 to a minimum compressive strength of 80 psi. The data sheet states a UL Class A rating over combustible decks when used with a UL-classified membrane classified for use with ElastoTherm B or ElastoTherm E insulation, and lists UL 790 and FM Approval to 4450/4470. It is installed over an existing roof system or base layers of insulation.
