BITEC Compabase FA-2T is a fiberglass-reinforced APP modified bitumen base ply designed for torch application over approved substrates in commercial roof membrane configurations. The data sheet lists a 2.0 mm nominal (83 mil average) thickness, a weight of 46 lbs per 100 square feet, polyethylene film on both faces, and 49.2 ft by 3.28 ft rolls. It lists UL classification as a Type G2 coated base/ply sheet for roofing systems as to external fire exposure, NEMO certification and FM Approval.
